Documents needed:

1. Visa application form. Should be completed in black ink and signed. Your signature in the application form should be identical with the one in your passport;

2. Passport. Should be valid at least 6 months longer than your exit date and with at least 1 blank visa page;

3. One passport-type photo;

4. A valid visa for the country of destination (if a visa is needed).

5. A letter from your employer

British nationals do not need transit visa if they need to stay in the transit zone of a Chinese airport for up to 24 hours.

The maximum validity of transit visas for China is 7 days.

Consular visa fees are not refundable.

Processing time includes only consular processing time. Please note that processing time does not include postage time for delivery of your passport to you.

After we collect your visa from the Chinese Embassy, we may either send it to you by Royal Mail Special Delivery (it will reach you the next business day before 1pm), deliver it to you by courier or hold it for your collection.

What will we need from you

Your passport sent to us by post. (The Embassy must affix your visa to your passport). Please make sure that you have at least one free visa page and that your passport does not expire within 6 months from your planned date of departure from China;
A signed application form (we can fill in the form for you, but the Embassy requests your signature on the application form) sent to us by post (together with your passport);
One passport-type photograph;
A valid visa for the country of destination;
A letter from your employer;
Your payment. You may pay by cheque, bank transfer, cash or online with debit or credit card through PayPal secure transaction.
