General Information

British passport holders must obtain a visa before entering China. Please make sure that you have at least one free visa page in your passport and that it does not expire within 6 months from your planned date of exit from China for single or double entry visas or within 9 moths for multiple entry visas.

British passport holders do not need visa to enter Hong Kong or Macao. However, visa is required  if you enter China from Hong-Kong or Macao.

It is possible to extend your visa in China.
